Quality of Life Council Gathering Feedback
One of the highlights of Envsion2030 was the focus on “Quality of Life.” The plan calls for a Quality of Life Council that represents a cross section of community stakeholders that will define and measure the quality of life in Cumming and Forsyth County. The Quality of Life Council began meeting in early 2008 to take on this task.
As a first step in the process the Quality of Life Council is reaching out to community, business and civic groups as well as individuals to gather your feedback on several questions that will help define what the community values about the quality of life in Cumming and Forsyth County.
Once the Quality of Life Council gets a better understanding of how the community defines quality of life, the Council will begin to create strategies for identifying benchmarking measurements.
The Council is requesting that you respond to the following 10 questions to help get a better understanding of your views on quality of life. This information will be gathered to help community leaders and community service organizations get focused on the areas of greatest need to ensure that the quality of life in Cumming and Forsyth County remains the strongest of any community in the nation.
